PSARA Documents for LLP

Quick answer: PSARA documents for an LLP in MP include each partner's photo, PAN, Aadhaar, final education marksheet, 3 years' ITR and PSARA training certificate, plus the LLP's MP office proof, Gumasta, GST, EPF, ESIC, LLP PAN, incorporation certificate, LLP agreement, MoU with a registered institute, demo ID card, office and guard photos and a uniform cloth sample.

An LLP combines a partnership-style structure with separate legal identity, which makes it a popular choice for growing security agencies. The PSARA documents for an LLP follow the same list as a partnership firm, with two LLP-specific items: the incorporation certificate and the LLP agreement. For a comparison with other structures, see the documents required for MP PSARA registration hub.

Photo tips: guard 4-side photo and office banner

Photographs are the most common reason for queries on the portal, so treat them as documents, not formalities.

  • Guard 4-side photo: take four separate photos of one guard - front, back, left side and right side - in complete uniform. The company logo on the shirt and the ID card should be clearly visible in the front view.
  • Office outer photo: the banner or signboard must show the agency name exactly as written in the application. A banner with a short form or old name usually invites a query.
  • Office inner photo: show a working office - table, chairs, a computer or file rack. An empty room does not help the application.
  • Use good daylight, avoid heavy filters and keep files within the upload size limits of the official PSARA portal.

LLP-specific points and declarations

The LLP agreement should be filed with the Registrar and its business objects should include private security services. If the LLP was formed for another business, consider amending the agreement before filing. As with partnerships, partners give declarations on eligibility and antecedents during the application, and we prepare these in the format required at the time. You can verify LLP details on the MCA portal.

Make sure the partners listed in the PSARA application match the partners shown in MCA records on the date of filing. A recent change not yet updated with MCA can cause a mismatch.

Common errors to avoid

  • Incorporation certificate uploaded but LLP agreement not filed or not stamped.
  • Objects in the LLP agreement not covering security services.
  • Only designated partners taking PSARA training while other partners skip it.
  • LLP name on GST, Gumasta and banner differing in the word 'LLP' or punctuation.
  • Old office address on MCA records while the rent agreement shows a new address.
  • Guard photo without full uniform or without visible logo and ID card.

What we prepare for you

We check the LLP agreement and MCA records, align every registration to the same name and MP address, prepare the demo ID card, guide photos and banner, and arrange the MoU with a registered training institute. If you have not yet formed the LLP, our LLP and company registration service sets it up with suitable objects. We then file, reply to queries and follow up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is an LLP better than a partnership firm for a security agency?

An LLP gives partners limited liability and a separate legal identity, which can help with larger contracts and bank dealings. A partnership is quicker and cheaper to form. For PSARA, both use almost the same document list. The right choice depends on your size, partners and future plans, which we can discuss before filing.

Do all LLP partners need a PSARA training certificate?

The partnership/LLP list asks for the training certificate under PSARA for all partners. So every partner, not just designated partners, should complete training from an MP PSARA registered institute. Plan this early, because training batches and certificate issue can take some time.

Can an LLP registered in another state apply for an MP PSARA license?

Yes, provided it has an office in Madhya Pradesh. Along with the usual documents, keep the PSARA license of the other state if available and the ESIC sub-code of the MP office. The MP office must be functional and pass police verification, with its own rent agreement or ownership proof.

Does the LLP need its own PAN for the PSARA application?

Yes. The list includes the PAN card of the firm, which for an LLP is the PAN issued in the LLP's name. It is normally allotted along with incorporation. The same PAN should be reflected in GST, EPF and ESIC registrations so that all records match.
